The sun that sunk into the sea
The sun that sunk into the sea
Was a very strange sight to see
I woke one day and there it lay
In the waters of the bay
I got dressed and ran outside
And saw the sun within the tide
The sea must have cooled it down
For I was cold in my dressing gown
It was in truth, a beautiful sight
The sun in the sea, burning bright
The sea air, I inhaled within
Before taking a dive in
I swam out amongst the dolphins
I held on tight upon their fins
Taking me within the shimmering sun
That morning I was the lucky one
Cool and chilled I felt that morning
I find natures beauty, never boring
I pushed the sun back to the horizon
I felt like an immortal guardian
Safely I place the sun in to the sky
Shining brighter, as I said goodbye
I did all this without a crowd
For later, the sun was behind a cloud
I told people about what I done
About finding the fallen sun
They just laughed at my story
Of the sun that sunk into the sea.
