 Wilderness Woes
Far from home where desert storms
Wage war and blind those once reborn
As lack of faith has led them to
A place the lost are drawn unto

Reason all ways to justify
This crooked path you now abide
Torment now wields it's hammer on
A soul dented, sin feeds upon

The weeds that grow in this new land
Rise from below Hell's sinking sands
With thorns that pierce the will of all
Those that have fallen, those yet to fall

Dreary are skies barren of Sun
Remorse rampant runs and becomes
Blanket of truth for thirsty souls
Denied a drink by fiery hold

This wilderness a mental state
Becomes of those lacking of faith
Condemned to walk by their own hands
Woe on to them alive but damned
