 THE TRAVELING LIFELONG BUSH POET

The Bumble Bee

I love to watch the bumble bee
Going slowly through it's day-
Visiting flowers and blossom
That are there on display-
The bumble bee so at ease and free
Working so upon it's very own-
From flower to flower'hour by hour
Till it eventually ventures home-
A sight to see the bumble bee
Going through it's longest day-
Within a world all of it's own
Amongst the flowers come what may-
Not bothering anyone at all
It slowly does perform-
Working slowly all of the time
A day starting not long after dawn-
Attractive and free the bumble bee
Silently doing as it needs to do-
A gift to gardens ever so
Dedicated and gentle as the dew-
Cross pollinating and collecting-
The gentle bumble bee-
Working slowly all day and alone
So very beautiful and so free-
