Dez Streets
Dez streets, full of hate, pain and sorrow
Makes me wonder will there be a tomorrow
Dez streets full of hoes, diseases and sex
Makes me keep my thighs tight, abstinence in effect
Dez streets full of deception, manipulation and corruption
Makes me wish to swim in another world engulfed by the ocean
Dez streets full of haters, not just pale, many black as night
Makes me want to sweep the streets, eliminating who ain't right
Dez streets full of children, caught up in the crossfire of dealth
Makes me want to beam them up to a new world of love and wealth
Dez streets full of ignorance, few with true knowledge of God & self
Makes me wanna holla Geronimo! cause ain't no peace in hell
Dez streets full of drugs, everything from pills to powder
Makes me see if it ain't herbs, its just a means to devour
Dez streets full of babies, being born on crack, cloned wrong
Makes me see how much contempt there is for us, justifying our song
Dez streets full of potential, entrepreneurs beyond compare
Makes me fight to reach that city of gold, my home must be there
Dez streets full of demons, lurking with the stench of the dead
Makes me try not to be in the streets, I must never dwell there in my head
Dez streets full of warriors, who feel the breeze of a new day's delight
Makes me pray we get our cheese, becoming victorious in the fight
Dez streets full or revelation, the coming that is foretold
Makes me feel our time is here to inherit our eternal throne!
