Nailed To Wood For Doing Good
I have this friend who is a true friend to me.
He went around doing good and was still nailed to a tree.
This goes to show sometimes whatever you do,
Not everyone, but some people will beat on you.
We need to forgive them and go on our way.
When we get to a quiet place, to God we need to pray.
Father, forgive us for the sins in our heart,
For Jesus is with us and He will never part.
Jesus suffered so much pain and misery for you and me.
Yet, He said, "Father forgive them." and died to set us free.
He went through so much to prove His love.
Let us not forget that the father cried from above.
If we don't forgive, how can we expect Him to forgive?
We just have to humble ourselves forever we can live.
You may call this preachin',Take it for what it's worth.
I'm just tired of Satan pushin' around God's children on this earth.
Almighty God is in charge and in complete control.
I'm helping my father take back what Satan stole.
I want the devil to tremble each and every morning.
I got the power in the name of Jesus,Devil, heed my warning.
I don't even need to carry my sword every place.
God's word is written in my heart and I'm saved by grace.
The devil is a defeated foe, Not much of an enemy.
I just speak the name of Jesus and the devil will flee.
It will be worth whatever we go through.
God has prepared heaven for us beyond the sky so blue.
God is not ready to get us for every little thing.
He's a forgiving God. He wants us to rejoice and sing.
He's the alpha and omega, the first and the last.
Just go to Him in prayer. He forgives us of the past.
He can give sight back to the blind and cause life and death.
He can work miracles, He's the reason for every breath.
