It was gone!
I Was So Blind…
His Legacy; Are His Words.
For My Mum!
We REALLY Don't Talk About It, Do We? I Am!

Families At War!
Guns at the ready,
Armed up to the hilt,
Sun burning down,
But never do they wilt.
Off to other countries,
To help restore some peace,
No matter how dangerous it is…
Their aim, to give release!
Marching to officers orders,
Given no time to worry,
To execute they must do,
And do so in a hurry.
Discontent all over the world,
Hate and anger too,
Our families go with pride,
Not knowing what they'll go through.
A mother and father's siblings,
Someones family, someones kin,
Off to the land of anger...
The end result is for peace to win!
We worry and fret and wonder,
When they are away…
Are they in the middle of hell?
Where are they, are they ok?
Thoughts always running riot,
When we hear the news of ‘war,'
Can anyone please tell me…?
What all this hate and anger's for!
Lives thrown into turmoil,
Hearts are torn in two,
They out there in danger,
And we, not knowing what to do!
Our thoughts are with them always,
In our prayers at night,
Hoping in our hearts,
That they will be alright!
Our pride is insurmountable,
Our emotions all over the place,
Waiting full of fear,
Until once more, we see their face.
So, armed and at the ready,
Our families all at war,
And still I can not comprehend,
What all this fighting's for?
