The Lust of Money
True faith with peace of mind,
Has godliness to gain;
As tolerant and kind,
With the love you sustain.
We came here with nothing,
And will leave the same way;
Only the Lord to cling,
For us on Judgment Day.
But we have enough food,
A roof over our head;
So why complain and brood,
Being greedy instead.
Those who worry of wealth,
Will fall into danger;
When it affects their health,
Or swiped by a stranger.
The root of all evil,
Is the lust of money;
The seed of the devil,
For his milk and honey.
