~Song to the Night~
(triolet)

~Tribute to "Hymn to the Night" By Henry Wadsworth Longfellow~

He heard  sounds of sorrow and delight.
Swept from marble vestments of halls.
Felt her presence compelled the light.
He heard  sounds of sorrow and delight.
Spelt her feet old'n rhymes so bright.
And layered stars pierced  her celestial walls.
He heard sounds of sorrow and delight.
Swept from marbled vestments of halls.
