Today I was feeling fine, then out of no where
Came a flare up of an old wound I forgot was there
Maybe I saw something or something was said
Just all of a sudden I got this pain in my head
It moved to my chest and made my whole body ache
As if a that moment I felt my heart break
I am missing my mother and my older brother
Missing the joy and laughter we shared with one another
I am missing my baby sister, truly to young to die
I've fought it for so long, but today I had to cry
After 20 some odd years this pain won't go away
It hurts the same as if it happened yesterday
Most of the time I fight it and hold it deep inside
But sometimes it gets bigger than my pride
I am not type to share my thoughts with anyone else
But the pain today is too much to handle by myself
So I thought for now the best thing for me to do
Is to put these tears on paper and give some of them to you
