just another day....

drizzling rain all morning
really rather dull
drink my coffee slowly
and ease into the day...

not a lot of promise
not a lot of shine
flashbacks linger lonely
filling up my mind...

searching with my fingers
tappping on the keys
looking for some answers
as the questions fade away...

silence all around me
empty faces hide
as I search for something
to bring me back to life...
