Norwalk Virus
It started on Tuesday
the seventeenth, to be exact,
my little guy got very sick
yes, this is a true fact.
It was just after supper
he mentioned his stomach was upset,
I stayed up most of the night
'twas something, I did expect.
My youngest daughter
caught the virus too,
on Thursday, of the same week
what was I to do?
Dad stayed up with her
he barely got any sleep,
two children deathly sick
it had been a hard week.
Friday came around
the children had the day off from school,
home reports had just come out
but, being sick, wasn't so cool.
Around ten-thirty, Friday night
dad, was the third in line,
three family members, in one week
this virus, had us in a bind.
I could have lost them all
all it takes, is just three days,
it's true, they all could have died
to a certain extent, the virus, was kept at bay.

The Norwalk Virus, kills a person in 3 days. Everyone in my city, is getting really sick. Neither I, nor my oldest daughter, caught it.
