Mixture of Life
Life is a complication of hopes, dreams, and sorrows
who knows which of these will be in our eyes tomorrow
Whether it's joy or pain
I was at ease in my mind the day
I heard the future call out my name
She said, Come, take what's in my hand
Her joys, dreams, sorrows are immeasurable
like the grains of sand
Her face was strong like steel, her eyes stared straight
She said, Come quickly, time won''t wait
So I walked toward her
trying to discern her face in the light
but the rays of the sun kept blocking my sight
