Pumpkin SoupEvery body loves a warn tasty soup And my favorite one I share- Nothing tastes a good I feel Though many are all out there- If you like a real good soup Than try this and I'm sure- That you will love the way that I Make mine and it I so adore- A nice pumpkin cut in thick slice And placed in pot to boil- Leave the skin on as it does As the taste then not to spoil- When cooked take the skin of then And into the blender then they go- Add with them a large cup of pure cream And a little black pepper it is so- Blend this and then you have yourself A simple pumpkin soup recipe- The way grandmothers used to make it And it sure tastes good to me- Terrence Michael Sutton copyright 2008 Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
