Petals In The Grass
Black Sheep
Born as the black sheep
Shunned by the ones who created me
Mother Nature my only friend
Forced into isolation
As a child I was alone
Thrown into a cell
Left there to rot
Like the decaying flesh after rigor mortis
Forced into isolation
As a teen I was alone
Abandoned by many
Some of which I deserved
Afraid of getting close to others
Choosing my isolation
As a man I am alone
Shunned by the ones who created me
Mother Nature my only friend
Forced into isolation
As a child I was alone
Thrown into a cell
Left there to rot
Like the decaying flesh after rigor mortis
Forced into isolation
As a teen I was alone
Abandoned by many
Some of which I deserved
Afraid of getting close to others
Choosing my isolation
As a man I am alone
