A shortcut that I make sometimes
Through the most peaceful place that be-
Vibes of total all at ease
And perfect tranquility-
There's understanding wings for thought
Silence there plays it's natural tune-
Statues stand with love and understanding
Sometimes under the largest bluest moon-
One feels as if a cricket sang its song
More than a mile or two away-
That one would hear it perfectly well
So far from the very light of day-
I once heard a leaf as it fell
As it brushed the limb and stem-
As I walked this sometimes shortcut
I enjoy the peace as always once ag'en-
One passes grave stones large in moon light
One feels at ease and welcomed by each guest-
That one walks by upon ones way
As they enjoy their final place of rest-
A being many think they know of somehow
But how peaceful one alive could never know-
So very tranquil it can be to walk
This way when blue full moon it does glow-
A feeling that all hearts here are happy now
As if waiting to be taken on further home-
That there they now know that all is well
And hearts no longer need to feel alone-
A shortcut that I take sometimes
And how I enjoy the walk on through-
All feelings there are welcoming ever so
As if they're saying here with love we wait for you-
