A Struggle For the Love of Beauty (2 competing versions)

Must Beauty hide herself from the eyes of the sun?
Winter comes upon her like the sneaky dawn
      with his frosty tunes
     His name is Beast
     Her name is June
    The fire in the sun
    The glory of the moon
Born in grace and purity
      My Love,
My eyes will always be true to thee
  though the things around me
   try to captivate my mind
I'll never give to another your time

Does Beauty appear only for Beauty sake?
My eyes have a duty to thee
       that must not wait
  Appear before me O Beauty
Why hide thyself from the eyes of the sun?
Come quickly before winter comes upon thee
      like the sneaky dawn
     with his frosty tunes
    His name is called Beast
     I shall call thee June
     The fire of the sun
     The glory of the moon
Do you not make blissful the joyful skies?
Will you let time eat chance away before my eyes
and let the grief of lost swallow me whole?
If so, Beauty, you shall never again touch my soul
