I Am Who I Am ... Not What You Say
Oh those words
that left my soul to bleed
The personal put downs
Well there was just no need.
A simple good by
was all I had to say
Your ugly nasty words
Oh how my soul would pay
You sit back in judgement
of me and my home
With your nasty ways
you will be forever alone
Each morning in the mirror
I search for what you say
for your eternal forgivness
on bended knee I daily pray
You attack with words
that leave a cutting scar
but dare you look inward
for what you really are?
The time has been to long
Ive allowed them to haunt
No longer mentally can I allow
you to torture and taunt
In the end we will see
who has the price to pay
So in the mean time
I and who I am ... Not what you say
