Of Church and State
Issues we face when choose we will
A man to govern, who won't fulfill
His pledge to serve for he cannot
Change this world that has forgot
Who's in charge, who does reign
Upon issues, that man thinks vain
Scripture tells how we should live
Forgive and love all we can give
Yet seems some think no need for one
To lead a nation that's come undone
We're fast to move on money matters
Yet slow to see what has been scattered
Like chaff by wind, a world untrue
To GOD who lives and not behooved
There will be some that will vote on
Platforms that sway and have become
The bill of goods to buy the vote
Take heed mankind and please make note
No man can change what GOD ordained
No one but man should help sustain
The Book Of Life today where laws
Shut out GOD on classroom floors
Pro choice, abort who made this law
Another place man sets before
The GOD who gave us life to be
Image of Him not killing sprees
There is more than what has been written
For man is blind to what is smitten
The GOD of all where voters fail
To grasp the choice that tore the veil
Of Church and State the great debate
Where all but CHRIST is on our plate
