O Lord,
Should we rejoice in thy glorious rain
or cry in misery and pain?
Who knows what rewards
or evils this new administration will bring
upon the earth without thy name
in the coming days,
that's why we must seek thy face always
to guide this country on the right course
O Lord, I'm listening for thy voice,
drown out the noise
of the people around me
so I can clearly see
because people ways shift around like blowing sand
whose bodies are shaped in a pile of flesh
with the face of a man
whose ways can not be trusted without thee
O Lord, Thy ways are so far higher than me
