overjoyed with gratitude,
there is a presence that anchors
our very core.
At His feet
the most violent storms are
turned into a peaceful stream
where our hearts flow
in harmony as one.
There at His feet
in our privileged low estate
we can feel the truth
of our inherited royalty.
At His feet our tears
become the most precious
of our possessions that
we can offer to Him.
It is at the feet
of the Servant King
that we learn
to give our lives
as a daily offering.
