 Transparent
There is a code we all should wear
Upon our hearts if all we bare
The real, the you that means so much
The one, with words, sometimes we touch

I understand to some degree
Why you will hide and won't let see
Your heart that beats barely sometimes
That some bloke broke, trust's hard to find

This too we see in what she writes
Where ghosts of past today still spite
Someone I met upon a path
Paved with words, this English Lass

Sometimes one has to keep their guard
To fend off fiends that play ball hard
That write to cut up one who made
My day, me smile, with words we trade

Transparent is all I want to be
With her and if she cannot see
Just thought I'd write to her who needs
To be transparent if just with me
