OPPORTUNITY KNOCKED

 OPPORTUNITY KNOCKED

Opportunities I held in my hand
But they just slipped thru` my fingers like sand,
I tried to hold on but they got away
Now I`ll regret this to my dying day.

Should have tried harder but what could I do
If only the answer I would of then knew,
But it`s too late now for they are long gone
But the pain of losing them will go on and on.

Opportunity never knocks twice
So by not taking it I paid a high price,
My heart is heavy and I am so sad
Even the good things right now look bad.
