New Glasses
The shadows have passed-
new glasses at last-
I sit 'n gaze all around.
They fit snug 'n firm-
I see with each turn-
all the sky 'n down to the ground.
Smart stylish 'n square-
with wonderful flare-
I can clearly see so far.
The frames look so right-
I'm a beautiful sight-
I rather feel like a star.
Joy Weare.
