 As December Approaches
As December approaches
A kiss is blown from afar
How blissful the wind rages
In these English winter months
As the year slows down
Like a car approaching speed humps
Coldness in the air, and in the breath
But no coldness in the heart
Everyone revelling in the festive fun
And a new years new start
The colours of the trees are yellow and brown
But the skies still blue
But whatever what month, what season
I'm thinking of you.
