Balance in LifeBalance in life starts with priority Putting God first, as my authority Situations begin falling into place As I focus daily to seek His face In the times I get off track with God My journey becomes difficult to trod I am nothing apart from His direction Like a computer without a connection Other factors affect balance in life Rest and relaxation will ease strife Getting out for an extra fun activity Releases stress and adds flexibility Reading a good book, not too deep Or listening to music as I fall asleep Before I doze, going to God in prayer Helps to free my mind from all cares You may come up with more ways To help you throughout your days But only by having God on your side Results in victory with the Spirit inside God works out all things for our good That verse is so often misunderstood He alone knows for us what is best Joy comes in trusting Him for the rest Psalm 28:7 (NIV) The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped.
