 The Springbok Blues
The Springbok blues never last forever
She'll soon return to the English weather
And when she does we'll sing a melody
For this Springbok is special a lady!

She's a long way from home
But she's not alone, no not alone
In a short space of time she has shown
She's more than a springbok on the phone.

Human sparks that ignite one another
Are like secret spies undercover
And the spark which she fired at me
Went down like a cup of tea

She grazed upon Londons plains
Her smile healing all our pains
Blessed we've been to have her here
And when she goes we'll shed a tear

But wherever this springbok goes
She have that feeling in her toes
She'll return to learn some more
Because there's so much to explore

But for now the road shows back home
But she goes back not alone, no not alone
For the springbok comes back with news
That she no longer has the blues!

~~ We'll meet again, don't know where when .. but I'll know we'll meet again, some sunny day…….. For Jess~~
