PLEA FOR EVEN ONE
For lost souls at stake
Dear God hear my plea,
help me Holy Spirit
to empty myself of me.
Your brilliant reflection
should be manifested in me.
Attracting the lost,
enticing them to see.
Wondering,
who is this entity,
that you call your Lord?
Who is this Jesus,
whose blood,
you say was poured?
Open their eyes so they may
see your presence, in my pain,
And how your staying power,
keeps me able to remain.
Only You know God in heaven,
what can make the lost believe.
I know many out there think,
I am,just a bit too naive.
It amazes me that they don't
see,how much I really care.
The effort spent to win their souls,
the secret tears
I shed in prayer.
The lie's of Satan, it seem's,
they much rather choose.
If only their hearts were open
to what, they really have to lose.
So I ask you Lord, to shine your
light effectively through me.
If even just, for one lost soul,
Dear Father hear my plea!
