"his hooded raptor"
shed the cloak of light
disappear into shadow
walk amidst harsh thorns
black blindfolds surround
the seeing part of her mind
his hooded raptor
skin drinking in sound
as hearing is now taken
still, still upon perch
his voice upon wing
ascends entwined with her soul
her mind takes to flight
with one rush of air
her form transforms to senses
now! spirit is free
