 ' DARK MOON '

 ' DARK MOON '

I saw you staring at the moon
Distress flowing in your soul
Standing there so all alone
Lost in pondering days of old

Oh how I longed to hold you close
To calm your sorrows at my breast
To free your pain from deep within
And comfort you with peaceful rest

If only you could see me there
Standing next to you so near
If you could hear my whispers low
You would no longer have to fear

Perhaps the end has not yet come
As you feel my love so very strong
Deep within the core of your soul
Knowing with you is where I belong
