Through The Eyes Of A Poet...

Tis My Time Now…!

At last it's finally happened,
It is my time at last,
The day when I moved forward,
And left behind a nasty past!

Tis my time now says she,
Finally and at last,
Into the light I walked this day,
And buried deep my past.

Tis my time now to heal,
And be rid of pain in my life at last,
Strive forward never backwards,
And leave behind an awful past!

Tis my aim to be rid of the sadness,
And the pain and torment and strife,
Staying positive, reaching my goal,
And leave behind a nightmare life.

Tis time for me to reap…
The goodness that I sow…
Stay strong of heart and mind…
And let finally let my nasty past go!

In the past where it belongs,
For my life has started at last,
I opened my can of worms, I set them free
And big snakes slithered into the past!
