Hidden Moral Virtues
A bribe is like a precious stone,
That will cause desire to moan;
Or merely like a fertile seed,
That will bloom a flowery greed.
At such a great price that you pay,
Enticing you to go and stray;
The gem just like a shining light,
Making your eyes so wide and bright.
Temptation of secluded sin,
Causes your lust to grow within;
That looks for a another love,
Which is not flowing from above.
An under the table type deal,
Maybe has a certain appeal;
For giving power or prestige,
But it puts your soul under siege.
Sooner or later all you sought,
Does confirm that you will be caught;
Because of each little detail,
Will always leave a paper trail.
But if God within does exist,
He will give power to resist;
While with performing you best,
Ensuring you are really blessed.
