A fellow poet said to me
You probably won't understand my poetry
My mind is so advanced
Only someone can understand with brain enhanced
So the warning I did heed
I'll turn to less vain poets their work to read
You see my roommate in college wrote a theme on a dot
Teacher didn't read it gave him an "A" on the spot
Twenty five pages of meaning you couldn't understand
You think him bright--to get him to write anything was her plan
