How to Forgive
How should I just forgive,
Someone who has done wrong;
As the hurt holds captive,
In my heart for so long.
Someone that you hold dear,
You can forgive the debt;
So if they are sincere,
Then you learn to forget.
But just how many times,
Will it all be driven;
That you forgive the crimes,
Is it about seven?
The Word down from Heaven,
Is for much more than that;
Seventy times seven,
More like it should be at.
You forgive and forget,
Your sister and brother;
Not dwelling in the fret,
But love one another.
