 Dusk filled serenity

Photobucket

What tranquil serenity dusk does bring
To a city forever buzzing and thriving
Against the eternal back drop of the London Eye
Time stops in a City that is never shy
And Like a clock, the London Eye slowly rotates
Giving panoramic views of housing estates
And history that dates back 1000's of years
Amongst the hustle and bustle, laughter and tears
And yet within the splitting of the dark brooding sky
Comes a glimmer of such beauty it makes you cry
Well to me it does, as I walk on Blackfriars Bridge
Leaning over the red painted, concrete ridge
I see bright a shining hope above my City
Within the dusk filled serenity.
