Dream On
Once upon a bed we slept
Until a dream upon us crept
It was quite real as we did touch
What once was then, one we loved much
I held them tight for fear we would
Lose them again as others stood
In line to feel what they once had
A warm encounter, goodbye so sad
There in spirit were all who left
Too soon, too young in line they wept
Along with me as we relived
Moment of joy, GOD us would give
There were too many too count this day
It seemed so real I'd have to say
Too real to wake to go back to
Alone without those held unto
Relatives and friends once here
In life so short, once endeared
Where many wait to see again
Those left behind, those time would lend
Time to hold and love on them
Moments so brief, wonder we when
When will our time come to an end
Our time upon this Earth we spend
The New Year starts with celebration
Take hold of life with great elation
Dream on and live each day as if
It were your last in CHRIST, Gods gift
