 You Miss Me

My phone ranged the other day,
I answered, and you had nothing to say.
I wondered why, and need to understand,
Why not say what's on your mind, be a real man?

When I wanted to talk, you had nothing to say,
I let it go, and went on my way.
Now you want to talk and be my friend,
What we had has come to a bitter end.

As you sit and come to the reality,
You know I'm in your heart, and you miss me.
I gave you a chance to make it right,
All you wanted to do was fuss and fight.

I have come to understand, and I can see,
That you don't want to admit that you miss me.
It's not alright, but it's okay,
It's time for a change, and a brand new day.

We don't miss our water until the well run dry,
Now maybe it's your time to cry.
Some things in life is not meant to be,
But it's alright if you miss me.
