Contests and Contents
Seems like some upon this site
Have taken issues with those who write
Degrading women, crossing the line
With words raping, just fine this crime
Agree we do, respect falls short
With one that thinks these writes some short
Will win favor by those who read
Creative writing, so misconceived
This site is used to help express
What others feel and nothing less
Offensive is what comes to mind
But to some writers, it feels just fine
Make no mistake we don't condone
Lack of respect but we don't own
The right to censor, attack, remove
It's up to one to make that move
The owners of this site know well
The culprits who do more than tell
A poem filled with words that stray
Insulting woman, thought more as prey
I wrote this one to help support
To some degree someone who sought
Our name and site to help bring light
To this subject and verbal blight
Their is freedom and right of speech
Written or spoken what does it teach
A lesson learned where contests rule
Contents upon, poems thought cruel
