Our hearts

Hearts symbolize many things.
One of which is life it brings.
The organ that lets us breath.
Where we look for what we believe.
Love lives strong among our hearts.
Feels heartache as a loved one departs.
Skips a beat when we are scared.
Finds hidden depths as love is shared.
Hearts of others can be cold.
Others of youth though their old.
Some courageous and also bold.
Few of kindness have hearts of gold.
