The Wisdom of the Lord
We have wisdom that is complete,
But not for those full of conceit;
Our wisdom we do inherit,
And blessed by the Holy Spirit.
From whence after our rebirth,
But not from wisdom of this earth;
Nor from the rulers of this place,
Since their knowledge cannot shed grace.
A secret wisdom of the Lord,
When being in one accord;
Which He is keeping in storage,
For His children from age to age.
Not a single ruler had known,
About the cross would be a throne;
And if would have known the story,
Not had let Christ have such glory.
As within the Holy Word,
Not to be seen or even heard;
Never from their lips to impart,
Nor deep-rooted into their heart.
God has given revelation,
That all will see tribulation;
As His wrath comes then He will show,
Of His wisdom for all to know.
