Our Love is NOT THE SAME
I love You dear Lord
more and more everyday,
through every test and trial
I've learned how to say....
You are my first love
and You alone hold that part,
O my precious Jesus
You are the KING of my heart!
No other joy I seek
but to dwell nearer to thee
for in Thy Presence
I find pleasure that completes me.
And yet with all this abundant
love my soul does feel
there is an adversary
whose purpose is to steal.
I thought I loved You
but soon learned
I loved in vain,
Lord You showed me how
our love was NOT
THE SAME!
Your Love is unconditional
it fills my cup,
my love has limits
and has proven to give up!
So I'll trust forever in
Your Grace to keep and sustain,
Enjoying Our Love
as a gift that's without stain!
What a marvelous gift
You give
this unstained Love,
It's beyond anything
I could ever have dreamed of!
PS - I LOVE YOU- the best that I can here on this side of eternity Lord!!!!!
