He runs now with his canine friends
Where all puppies begin their end
Of life On Earth where you shared time
With him Bruno, one of a kind
Small in size but in your heart
Is where your friend would leave a part
Grand in scale smothered by kisses
On you planted, on you he misses
If he could bark a song for you
From clouds above he'd sing a few
Lines with doggie breath his own
Of how he loved and misses home
Howl he does at the same moon
That you look at but not with gloom
You see he knows he spent the best
Of times with you, daddy don't stress
Dear dad take heart don't cry for me
That's how I'd say that we were hungry
When feed you would all I could eat
Yet still have room for one more treat
Think of me as I will too
When I wake up and roll unto
The clouds above we run upon
With my new pack now that I'm gone
In memory of " Bruno " a super doggie
