My Brother
I love you and always will. I care for you cuz I can.
I trust you but wonder why? I can talk to you and tell
YOu anything. You are my friend, though awkard it seems
But you are my brother and that I'll always cherish.
We didn't always get along for we had our fights, no
We weren't perfect but no one ever is. But as we
Got older we came to work things out. I thank you,
My brother for protecting me from harm.
I'll always be your big sister but it seems the other
Way around; you being my big brother. When I look into
Your blue/green eyes I know that with your words,
Their's many a people you love.
I never thought I write a poem about you
But I have and I like it to the final end. We
Won't always be here for tomorrow's never promised
But brother of mine, remember I still lie in your heart.
Remember the good times we shared, especially when
It would snow, remember when we used to play games.
There's not enough words to say what you mean to me,
But Josh "JC" Chavis, I'll always be here for you.
