the tower of time....
a frenzy of crying
a sighing for birth-
the laughter of living
and breathing to be...
a crawling and crying
a snatching for things-
the stumbling and walking
and looking to see...
a fumbling and grumbling
and not taking turns-
the stopping and thinking
and breaking to mend...
a gushing and rushing
and circling in sun-
the urging and surging
and fighting to fend...
a stopping and staking
and putting in place-
the heaving and holding
and dancing the dream...
a living and giving
and trying to get-
the mouths- ever open
and always a team...
a finish and fuming
and echoing rooms-
the silence and sighing
and nothing to tend...
a standing and stooping
and being alone-
the terror of knowing
it soon is the end...
a meeting and greeting
the present and past-
the soaking the moment
and singing so quiet...
a taking and turning
the time on it's head-
the faces all smiling
through dreams in the night...
