GREY SKIES
Unflinching
And still
The grey sky hovers ahead
Stagnant
And harbouring a snow storm
A galleon on high
Crafted to weather the worst
Yet hoping for better
Heavy anticipation fills the air
With threats of snowdrifts
And chaos
Aside sledging and snowball fights
Numb fingers and raw lips
With white flaked beauty
