If For One Day
Imagine this if for one day
The world commits and leads the way
To bare what one bared back in time
A loving heart this Valentine
Surely there is a way to share
The question is will someone care
To show kindness and Gods face
Upon a heart that's out of place
A heart that needs a chance to heal
From callous words and lost appeal
That someone trashed without a thought
A life without a heart not sought
It's true cupid gets all the credit
On Valentines but some don't get it
There is no flying Cherub here
Just someones take on love I fear
Be more than just in love this day
Be one that molds a heart of clay
Back to life where they need to
With faith in CHRIST who sees things through
If for one day you put aside
Your differences no one would cry
