Love Is The Answer
It seemed as though I'd never feel
What some say is love for real
This feeling grand that's also said
Goes far beyond what's shared in bed
Yet years I'd wait to come to know
What's filled my heart and made it so
It's you who made all wrong so right
It's you who calls my name each night
Though short has time been up till now
I know someway, someday, somehow
This love that's filled two empty souls
Will only keep and stronger grow
I have no doubt we're meant to be
Without the you, there'd be no me
For true love comes but never goes
It's what we feel from head to toe
You've given me reason to breathe
The scent of you is how I feed
A heart malnourished and once broken
That beats today, from sleep awoken
Love is the answer is all I know
That picked up pieces and made it so
That keeps me warm just like cocoa
It's you I love and won't let go
Love is the answer, but I failed to mention…
