As I walk thru` the memories in my mind
It is truly amazing what I find,
I re-discover things I had forgot
As thru` the annals of my mind I trot.
I re-visit places where I had fun
Where I would play and laugh under the sun,
Giving me feelings of freedom and joy
A time of laughter that I did enjoy.
I see my loved ones who are now gone
My love didn`t die with them it goes on,
To my life they all brought something different
But they all left a big hole when they went.
I see sad times and happy times too
With friends and family that I once knew,
Some have died and some have just moved on
But this proves that they are not forgotten.
