" Poetry Lives In My Poems"

     "The Summer Sun"

I'm waiting for the summer sun to frolic on the beach.
To meet that certain lady with open arms I'll reach.
I like to walk along the shore with sand beneath my feet.
Stop along the water's edge a rock becomes my seat.
Maybe if that sun is right it will shine upon that one.
Her eyes meet mine mine meets her's along the beach we'll run.
Bring the wine I'll make some food upon the beach we'll eat.
Put on the music let's dance around to that latin beat.
I'll smile at everyone I meet and talk along the way.
I'll listen very carefully to what they have to say.
I'm waiting for that summer sun to hurry and be here.
So I can lay my blanket down for that certain one to share.
