From The Heart

Stronger Than I Thought

Fought back the tears when you left, remembered when I
use to see you every other Sunday, man I love you and miss
you so confounded much. I try to relax and try to understand
why you left for the Navy.

My heart became devastated, my world became crushed.
My eyes then filled up with water as I slowly became
depressed. I drown out the words of others as I listened
to my music and thought about you.

Now I wonder if you miss me, if you love me,
if you feel the way I do about you. William it
seems as if you led me through a journey I never
knew of. A journey of love, laughter, good times.

You're stronger than I thought you were and braver
too. You made your way up to the Navy in the deep
blue sea. I cherish you and wish you to come back
home. William, my love, I wish to see you again.
