Slumhood

          An unassuming place of love
a kind of stuff born out of slum
reality is poverty, spirits of a dove
times are hard, flight trouble some,
Yet people live proud, for all they knew,
in their hearts they pain, as outside eyes
look into slum, pity, it's a shame to go,
explore narrow ally paths, meet our wise

Old, youth alike share completely, a home
packed tight for security sake, listen to tales
stories of flightiness, a loveone least to roam,
rags, too riches never happens when left alone

Roamin' this whole world, packed with new folks
glitter everywhere, falsehoods, rich neighborhoods
restless slumber for their night air, twisted people
not like home,
I beeline back to love, for brotherhood
